SAN MIGUEL, Zamboanga del Sur (June 12, 2018) -
PNP personnel of San Miguel Municipal Police Station (MPS) conducted police
operation against wanted person (Service of Arrest Warrant) at Purok Bakhaw
Bay, Barangay Kawit, in this city Monday at about 5:30pm.
The successful law enforcement operation
was resulted in the arrest of Felix Ocapan Cañete, 24 years old, married,
construction worker and a resident of Purok Las Hermanas, Poblacion, San Miguel
municipality of this province.
He was arrested by virtue of warrant of
arrest for the crime of Act of Lasciviousness in Relation to RA 7610 or otherwise
known as the "Special Protection of Children Against Abuse, Exploitation
and Discrimination Act." The case was docketed under Criminal Case No.
17-023, issued by Hon Ruben N Bance, Presiding Judge of RTC, Branch 29, San
Miguel, Zamboanga Del Sur with bail bond recommended of Thirty Six Thousand (P36, 000. 00) Pesos for
his temporary liberty.
The arrested accused is now under the
temporary custody of San Miguel MPS for proper disposition. (By JONG CADION)
