Farmer Held in San Miguel for the Crime of Attempted Homicide

SAN MIGUEL, Zamboanga del Sur (June 15, 2018) - The PNP personnel of San Miguel Municipal Police Station (MPS) arrested the suspect of attempted homicide during their conduct of Manhunt Charlie operation at Purok 1, Langilan, San Miguel, Zamboanga del Sur at about 10:25 AM of June 13, 2018. 

The police operatives identified the arrested suspect as Raffy Aclao y Alangkas, 35 years old, male, married, farmer and a resident of aforementioned place.

The said wanted person arrested by virtue of warrant of arrest for the crime of Attempted Homicide docketed under Criminal Case No. 1771-SM issued by Hon. Maria Teresa R Pangilinan, Presiding Judge of 6^th MCTC of -San Miguel- Dinas- Lapuyan 9^th Judicial Region based in San Miguel, Zamboagna del Sur dated January 9, 2018.  Bail bond recommended amounting to Twelve Thousand Pesos (12,000. 00) for his temporary liberty.

The accused is now temporary detained at San Miguel detention cell awaiting court disposition. (By JONG CADION)

Construction Worker Arrested in San Miguel for Violation of RA 7610

SAN MIGUEL, Zamboanga del Sur (June 12, 2018) - PNP personnel of San Miguel Municipal Police Station (MPS) conducted police operation against wanted person (Service of Arrest Warrant) at Purok Bakhaw Bay, Barangay Kawit, in this city Monday at about 5:30pm.

The successful law enforcement operation was resulted in the arrest of Felix Ocapan Cañete, 24 years old, married, construction worker and a resident of Purok Las Hermanas, Poblacion, San Miguel municipality of this province.

He was arrested by virtue of warrant of arrest for the crime of Act of Lasciviousness in Relation to RA 7610 or otherwise known as the "Special Protection of Children Against Abuse, Exploitation and Discrimination Act." The case was docketed under Criminal Case No. 17-023, issued by Hon Ruben N Bance, Presiding Judge of RTC, Branch 29, San Miguel, Zamboanga Del Sur with bail bond recommended of  Thirty Six Thousand (P36, 000. 00) Pesos for his temporary liberty.

The arrested accused is now under the temporary custody of San Miguel MPS for proper disposition. (By JONG CADION)

Female Arrested for the crime of Reckless Imprudence Resulting To Homicide

SAN MIGUEL, Zamboanga del Sur (July 8, 2018) - PNP elements San Miguel Municipal Police Station conducted manhunt operation against wanted person at Barangay Betinan, San Miguel, Zamboanga Del Sur Thursday at about 6:00pm.

The successful operation was resulted in the arrest of Analyn M Fiel, 22 years old, female, single, jobless and a resident of Purok 5, Barangay Betinan, San Miguel, of this province.

The accused arrested by virtue of warrant of arrest issued by Hon. Maria Teresa Pangilinan, Presiding Judge of 6th MCTC in San Miguel, Zamboanga Del Sur for the crime of Reckless Imprudence Resulting to Homicide docketed under criminal case no. 1765- SM, with a bail bond of Thirty Thousand Pesos (P30, 000.00) for her temporary liberty.

Arrested accused is now under the temporary custody of San Miguel MPS detention cell waiting for final adjudication from the court.
